Sunny days, impossibly blue skies, pink blossoms, white country churches, blue sparkling lakes, pink eyelet dresses, that describes this photoshoot. It is my brother Stephen and his special girl Lorriane! It was so special to do these for these two, we are so happy for them, and so glad they found each other!
An abandoned vineyard.
pink blossoms.
a white country church.
I love this one.
Beautiful blossoms.
And you have to have a few at the Seneca Harbour.
Colleen and Jerry's wedding was on a windy spring morning. The sun was bright and happy, but the wind, not so much. We stayed indoors for their pre-wedding shoot, and did outdoor pictures between the wedding and reception.
I loved Colleen's shoes. Fabulous details there, that matched her dress.
The bride Colleen herself.
And her man, Jerry.
We found a small corner out of the wind. Loved the light we had there!
Too bad the lilies didn't cooperate for Colleen's bouquet.
A simply beautiful bride.
And there. There is the fabulous detail from her dress.
The two in love.
Jerry once again.
We stopped at Pool Forge to take their outside pictures.
Trying to stay out of the wind.
The entire bridal party.
The light at the end of the bridge was just wonderful. We oculd have shot there all day!
Loving that light!
And those shoes.
a fun building.
And some more of that gorgeous sunlight, --and couple!
Ford trucks were the ride of the day. Fun w/ the shoes:-)
Colleen had some very cool favors. Pears. How pretty--and yummy too.
I totally loved the detail on the cake.
And now, to make you hungry, a shot from the desert bar. The mint cake was to die for.
Take an excited 'in-love' couple who are into having their pictures done, put them in a fun location, and you have Merlin and Marie's photo shoot! Despite the cloudy cold day, threatening of rain, we had an awesome time with these two on the morning of their wedding.
Here's Marie!
And the happy two:
The sweet flowers.
LOVED this little spot between the train cars!
I've just been thinking that some of you may not visit my xanga or facebook, and therefore not know what our daughter has been up to lately. She is the light of our lives. We are just loving the age she is at right now--almost 11 weeks, and cooing and smiling, and generally just a happy little person.
I thought I'd share a few images from the weeks of her life so far.
Here's a family shot at two weeks old. Our first family picture and self-timed at that!
Our little sleeping beauty.
Definately a Daddy's girl already.
Let's see, here's a four week favorite. Or two. She grew into a sundress meant for later in the season, so I enjoyed it on her for a little photo shoot and that's it.
Little feet.
Five weeks old and ready to play with her toys:
and check out her world:
6 weeks old and ready to help mom edit pics:
7 weeks old and sleeping beautifullly. I think I was obsessed with her sleeping this week.
9 weeks old and hanging out while mom cooks.
Modeling a little Old Navy Onsie that is just too cute:
And now, 10 weeks old. These shots are from just today. It was a gorgeous day and I pulled out the bumbo I got her awhile ago. Just trying it out for size, she's almost big enough to use it!
Love the bright blue eyes!
Surveying her world:
Have you ever seen such squishable cheeks??
Yet another cold, cold early morning. As dawn crept across the sky, we left the warmth of our house to spend our morning with yet another in-love couple. This was Danny and Laura's special day!
And here's the happy groom:
Can I just say that I loved these flowers! Nothing like a huge bunch of pink roses to cheer the day!
Laura's shoes were also quite fun!
Took way too many shots of these throughout the day!
Laura liked these church doors and we couldn't agree more! We snuck a bunch of shots while mass went on indoors!
Will you? I do!
A vintage mustang was the ride of the day!
Of course it was fun to shoot up.
The shoes. Take II.
And they ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after:-)
Nathan and Lauren's day was cold and brisk. Altho they were freezing during their photo shoot, their smiles were warm and happy on this, their big day.
One of my favorite shots of the two of them, snapped as we were leaving the place.
The happy two.
The Man of the Hour.
And his sweet bride.
Love how this series turned out.
My other favorite image.
Back in the warmth of the church.
L.O.V.E the vintage Mustang that they used for their ride.
When the sun finally made it's appearance it was bright and happy.
And one final one of the happy bride in the sweet morning light.
Jamar and Laura's day dawned bright and cold. A little too cold as it turned out. Laura's beautiful bouquet was not meant to be in super cold temps so we ditched the idea of an early morning outdoor photo shoot. No one minded being able to stay in the warmth of the church, and here are the shots we got from that cold morning.
Jamar and Laura chose to see each other before the wedding--something we always appreciate, because it gives us a much more relaxed time frame for pictures. Here is a detail from their first look.
Just hanging out waiting for the festivities to begin.
Laura's beautiful dress was made for her by her grandmother, I'm still impressed!
Laura is one of those brides that you could just shoot for hours. I think she could start her career as a model anytime!
The happy two.
That dress. So pretty.
Love. Those. Eyes.
Can we say Good sport? She was undoubtedly freezing but still managed to look great!
Morning light, and Laura's gorgeous bouquet. A delicious combination.
Reflecting Jamar's love of all things manly, trucks were the vehicle of choice for the bridal procession.
Laura chills.
Taking a minute for the two of them.
We stopped by Jamar's house and did a few outdoor pics before everyone froze.
Killer winter light.
Mr. and Mrs.
The blue blue sky.
One final portrait.
Well, baby or no baby, photography season for 2009 is up and in full swing. We have done several shoots since Abbi's birth, and are looking forward to our first wedding this weekend.
Shooting in January is not always the most pleasant experience, and we are the ones who get to bundle up!! Props to our subjects for being such GREAT sports in the cold temps!
I'm resolving once again to do better with my posting, we will see how long this resolution lasts:-) But for tonight, here is an awesome couple whose wedding we are looking forward to in the spring. We had a great time w/ these guys, and who knew Strasburg Railroad could be such a great place for photo-ops?? Def. not us:-)
I must say we loved Jesses's hat.
These guys have so much fun together.
A back service area that turned out to be fun
Beautiful.Sunny. Cold. Fun.
