After a day of pouring rain on Friday, we were excited to wake up Saturday morning to sunlight just streaming through our window . Somehow doing a wedding photo shoot in the rain doesn't rate very high on our list of favorite things to do. This was actually our first wedding this spring that we had actual sunlight to work with...seems like we've had a lot of cloudy Saturday's this spring.
Anyway, enough about the weather! We feel privileged to have been able to get to know this couple and join them on their special day. They have an amazing love story, and an incredible heart for God and His work.
One thing we're learning as Photographers is to be ready for whatever the day throws your way. This day there was a flea market right in the park that we were planning to shoot in. We never thought to check, because there's usually never anything there in the many times we've been to this park!
This actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it moved us on to bigger and better locations, that turned out to be amazing, and we got much better images then we would have if we would have just stayed in the park!
Then there was the whole story with the missing bouquets, but we won't go there but to say props to Lucy for not allowing it stress her out!
Anyway, without much further ado, Here's a shot of the lovely Lucy.

And her prince charming, Duane.
The happy two.
A charming front porch.
Some of that lovely beautiful sunlight.
Let's just say they're a little excited.
We found this old church with just fabulous architecture. I LOVE those red doors!
My favorite sweet candid shot.
One of my favorites of Lucy.
The girls cute bouquets.
Sweet nothings.

Lucy's my cousin. I thought the wedding was beautiful. She really glowed.
