Saturday was Janessa and Galen's big day, and true to our past record this spring, we woke up to cloudy overcast grumpy skies. Thankfully the rains held off until we were halfway through our alloted picture time, so we were able to get some good shots of everyone before the skies let loose. I am always in extra admiration of those couples who have to deal with unplanned (unwanted) situations, such as a rainy wedding day. To see them just be able to go with the flow and not get too stressed out about skies that look like they are ready to open up at any moment, is just great. Galen and Janessa were two of those people and I just wanted to give them props for having to deal with this grumpy weather.
Well anyway, here are the happy two.
Galen:
And Janessa:

The two of them. We were happy to see that there was no flea-market-in-the-park event going on this Saturday!
And excited to see that our favorite water fountain is now turned on for the summer!
One more of the happy bride.
Her flowers. Judging from our past three weddings, Gerbera daisies are the rage for this wedding season:-)
The girlies all pretty in pink.
A few bridal party shots before the skies let loose.
And then it poured! One last smooch under Daryl's Dutch Valley umbrella.

Lovely, as always!
